Eternal Playground

By Vikram Nijhawan

Trying to live life from the universal cradle, isn’t an option

It’s all too tempting to keep my boots planted firmly

On this side of the line

But I realize that my peers might feel more cavalier

And leap over the chalk line, like gallivanting gazelles

Playing the most important game of hopscotch ever witnessed on the playground
